The HFA team will be ready for action in San Diego.

Star power (such as an appearance by Mark Wahlberg in 2025) is an HFA staple.

The anticipation is building for a return to San Diego for The HFA Show, a destination favored by many attendees for its clean ocean air and temperate climate. Organizers expect The HFA Show 2026 to easily eclipse last year’s event in Las Vegas, which welcomed nearly 10,000 attendees from 90 countries, along with 363 exhibitors, 50 sponsors, and 215 speakers from around the world.

For 2026, HFA is celebrating the power of unity with its theme Stronger Together. As HFA President and CEO Liz Clark says: “When we work together, we elevate our industry, strengthen our partnerships, and amplify our message that fitness is essential for everyone for better physical and mental health.”

The theme recognizes that The HFA Show is as much a celebration of the industry as it is a world-class business conference and trade show. No matter what challenges exist in the world, the global fitness industry remains a foundation of healthy living for people in good times and bad.

The full slate of speakers, conference sessions, and other special events will be announced soon.

Launching With the HFA Hall of Fame

For the second year, The HFA Show will open with the Health & Fitness Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Sunday, March 15. This year’s inductees are being announced weekly. The honorees announced as of press time are Phillip Mills, founder of Les Mills International, and Jack and Elaine LaLanne. The remaining four inductees will be announced by November 3.

The inaugural HFA Hall of Fame ceremony in March 2025 honored six industry legends, including Rick Caro, who passed away on August 31 (see page 30 for a special remembrance). Caro will be honored at the HFA Hall of Fame event in a special presentation.

Tickets are required to attend The HFA Hall of Fame. Proceeds support the HFA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting health through exercise.
