How HFA Can Help You Save Money Through Group Purchasing
A new partnership with National Purchasing Partners can deliver big savings for members.

Did you know that your HFA membership can help you save on the products and services your business uses every day? HFA’s Group Purchasing program can save you time and money through smart, streamlined purchasing from two sources.
Last month, HFA signed a new partnership agreement with National Purchasing Partners (NPP) that gives US-based members access to a curated network of vetted suppliers offering pre-negotiated pricing across a wide range of business services and products, including uniforms, payroll services, computers, and safety services, just to name a few.
“We’re pleased to have partnered with NPP, a trusted savings provider for businesses and their employees nationwide for 20 years,” said Winston Moore, HFA’s director of strategic partnerships. “NPP does the vendor vetting and rate negotiation so you don't have to, giving your team more purchasing power without more purchasing work.”
By leveraging the purchasing power of more than 350,000 members, NPP can provide top discounts and special B2B pricing to businesses of all sizes. NPP members enjoy exclusive deals on a catalog of useful items for both work and play. NPP membership is free and there is no obligation to buy.
The savings don't stop with your business’ bottom line. Your employees can also take advantage of NPP's consumer discount program, extending the value of HFA membership to your whole team. Your staff members will appreciate saving on purchases at Sherwin-Williams, Omaha Steaks, Hertz, Simply Chocolates, Harry & David, HP, 1-800-Flowers.com, and other top brands.

The agreement with NPP is in addition to HFA’s group purchasing partnership with Grainger. This program has given association members exclusive access to over 1.7 million products from more than 5,200 trusted suppliers, backed by the kind of pricing and benefits you won’t find anywhere else. Perks include free standard parcel shipping on every order, exclusive discounts on frequently purchased products, and much more.

HFA’s Music Licensing Makes Your Life Easier
Two music licensing organizations have partnered with HFA to provide group purchasing discounts to members, helping to protect your club or studio from copyright violations without breaking the bank. In turn, this agreement ensures creators get paid for their work, so they can keep making music that gets your members moving.
Each organization in HFA’s licensing program represents a different catalog of music:
• ASCAP makes it simple for you to play the music you want, legally and affordably. Instead of getting permission from hundreds of thousands of songwriters individually, one ASCAP license gives your facility access to over 20 million songs in its repertory. HFA members in good standing receive a first-year 10% discount, and 5% every year after that.
• Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) represents the public performance rights in nearly 14 million musical works created and owned by hundreds of thousands of songwriters, composers, and music publishers, from chart toppers to perennial favorites. Their artists span all genres of music and are consistently among the most-performed hits of the year. BMI negotiates music license agreements and distributes the fees it generates as royalties to its affiliated writers and publishers when their songs are performed in public. As an HFA member, you can save up to 15% off your BMI Fitness License by licensing and paying your fees online.
Whether you’re a small shop or a large operation, your HFA membership delivers enterprise-level purchasing power that saves you time and money. Contact membership@healthandfitness.org with any questions.
